Abu Dhabi

Just arrived in Abu Dhabi, it's 7.30am now, and I have a good few hours to wait now until my next flight. Apparently the temperature outside is 38C, but thankfully cooler in the airport. Flight was fine, although we were informed that it is Ramadam here, so 'eating, drinking, chewing and smoking are prohibited during daylight hours' - hope this doesn't apply in the airport!

Hi - just seen your blog and Mum leapt up to see it :-). You should have reached your final destination by now, and be asleep! Were you not allowed to eat on the plane then? Will that apply in Kathmandu?
We watched you walk up and down the airport a few times and Mum panicked you were already lost! Dad almost drove into Central London and blamed it on poor signs :-). Been into school to put up gruffalo today- looks better. hope you enjoy your first day and the breakfast is good xx

Mum - just as well you ate that sandwich now. looking forward to your next blog. Take care. love mum x x

PS. i wrote this on my iphone and then couldn't post it so it all deleted!

  2. Hi Stuart,

Well Sophie has gone to school so I am left alone with the computer! Have been thinking about you and hope your first day in hospital has been OK. Did anyone meet you from the airport and is the hotel alright? Don't worry I wont blog every day, but it would be nice to know you are happy and settled. Are the children very sick and are you wearing your white coat, tie and stethoscope?

You picked the wrong week for your cub camp as the weather here is beautiful. Love you loads. Mum x
