Bhaktapur

Potter's Square
I arose for breakfast at 7am, and then commenced our 2-3 hour walk past many local houses (farmers mainly) and schools before catching another bus to Bhaktapur. This is a very old city dating back to the 12th century, and many buildings there are from 15th century. Originally it was a seperate Kingdom, before being united with another two to form Kathmandu a couple of centuries ago. Today it is famous for its traditional crafts of pottery and woodcarving.
